J.I. Manihera Memorial Secondary School Golf Tournament

When: Tuesday 21^st May 2024

Where: Kawerau Golf Club

Time: 9:00am Shotgun Start

Cost: $10 per player

Entry Requirements:

• Maximum field of 88 players.
• All players must be a member of a New Zealand Golf Club with an official handicap.
• Entry Priority (This is at the discretion of the event organisers):
1. 18 Hole players (Must be a member of a New Zealand Golf Club with an official handicap).
2. 9 Hole players

a) 1^st priority will go to those who are members of a New Zealand Golf Club.

b) 2^nd priority will go to all other 9-hole participants who may not be a member of a New Zealand Golf Club.

If the event reaches capacity, it will be at the discretion of the event organisers as to which players be eligible to compete. The remaining players will be waitlisted.

• Team Priority:

If a school has entered numerous teams and we reach capacity, it will be at the discretion of the event organisers as to how many teams from each school will be eligible to compete. The remaining teams will be waitlisted.

Format:

18 Holes – Stableford and Gross

9 Holes – Stableford (If there is space in the field).

J.I. Manihera Memorial Trophy

• Team event – 18 Holes
• Best 3 out of 4 stableford scores
• In case of a tie, the 4^th team members score will count.

Entry Process:

Please see your schools sports coordinator to register for this event. Open to secondary school students in the Bay of Plenty with an official New Zealand Golf Handicap, and 18 hole players.
