Island Park Golf Club is located just 15 mins from Dunedin CBD on Brighton Road in the suburb of Waldronville.
Island Park has its own unique micro-climate and its nine hole parkland layout offers an excellent golfing challenge.
Whether you are Scratch golfer or a 36 Handicapper you will enjoy your Golf at Island Park.
Our 9 Hole course offers a wonderful variety of different challenges for all golfers,with Tree Lined Fairways,and greens that are the rated very highly by all of the very best Golfers who visit our Club.
There are also many wonderful vistas to enjoy and they can be quite soothing if your Golf is not quite where you want it to be.
There are a few gentle slopes with the last, the 18th being a little bit less gentle,however with our well appointed Bar very close by, the walk up there passes by quite easily.
We have a well appointed bar with a wide range of all refreshments,Island Park GC take host responsibility seriously and there is a full range of non alcoholic beverages available along with light snacks.
There is a chipping and putting practise green,along with a practise bunker.
Although we do not have a Pro Shop and a resident Professional we have a close working relationship with Alan Rose from Sharpies Golf Barn,and He often uses our practise area for coaching and he will be more than happy to assist any prospective member with the correct advice.
