Golf Southland is pleased to announce the following Junior Golf Summer Series:
#1 Sunday 21st February, 10am at Invercargill GC - play 18, 9 or 6 holes
#2 Sunday 14th March, 10am at Gore GC - play 18, 9 or 6 holes
#3 Sunday 21st March, 10am at Winton GC - play 18, 9 or 6 holes (Southland Age Group Championships)
Monday 22nd March, 9.30am at Winton GC - Southland Secondary Schools
#4 Sunday 18th April, 10am at Drummond GC - play 9 or 6 holes
Not sure if you should play 18, 9 or 6 holes?
18 Hole – Suitable for golfers with current handicaps under 28.0, played in Age Group divisions pending entries - U19, U16, U13 played off age and stage appropriate length golf courses. Gross, nett or stableford competitions.
9 Hole – Suitable for Handicap and non-handicap golfers played in age group divisions pending entries. 5-7 years, 8-11 years 12 and over, boys and girls. Shorter courses to be age and stage appropriate. Stableford and gross competitions.
6 Hole – Team Ambrose or Family Team Ambrose events, points awarded for participation emphasis on participation and having fun.
The four events will have points awarded for participation and performance and even points for the parents too!
