Movember MoMasters - New Plymouth
The Movember Masters is a nationwide golf series of three-person team, Ambrose format, golf tournaments with a focus on fast play, fun and of course spending some quality time on the course with some fellow men's health supporters.
This tournament is part of the Movember Masters National Golf Series that aims to provide each golfer with a unique experience, including two cups on each green, the Mo Pro Zone where golfers take on the pro to win it all and the Speights Shootout.
As well as unique on course activities, this event will be scored on VPAR, the golf scoring app that provides teams with a live leaderboard and the ability to track your position against the field, as well as track your mates in the field as the tournament progresses.
The winning team of each Movember Masters Ambrose tournament is invited to attend the Movember Masters ‘Weekend of Champions’ held at Millbrook Resort over the first weekend of May, where your team will compete to be crowned National Champion while playing two rounds of golf and staying at one of the top golf resorts in the country.
Check in is open from 11am, briefing time 12.00pm ready for a shotgun start at 12:30pm.

On the outskirts of New Plymouth's there's a recreational venue that's truly special. It's the New Plymouth Golf Club's famed Ngamotu course, an old-style classic layout that golfing experts regularly voted as one of the best in New Zealand.
The Clubhouse is a majestic building that has one of the best views in Taranaki looking over the course down to the Tasman Sea.
The Proshop (Tararanaki Golf Centre) is a field leader and also fully stocked with top brands and Ngamotu branded products.
From the first hole on you'll sweep out right to the North Taranaki coastline, playing holes that are lined with native Pohutukawa trees - and once you reach the coast you'll be treated to unsurpassed views of the Tasman Sea, across New Plymouth city, and back towards iconic Taranaki Mounga.
After your round you can treat yourself to refreshments or a meal in Ngamotu's clubhouse, built to help celebrate 100 years of golf on the famous old course. The clubhouse is also available for private functions - call Neville on 7551349 for booking inquiries.
And don't forget to check out the Taranaki Golf Centre, one of the largest pro shops in New Zealand. There, NZPGA professionals Dominic Barson, Craig Owen, Steven Heyes and Ethan Jones are on hand to offer everything from the latest in men's and women's golf fashions, to a wide selection of new clubs, to coachingon the Ngamotu practice fairway.
