Would you like to have a go at golf but not too sure where or how to start? Play Six and get a Golf Fix is for you. It's a fun way to be introduced to the game of golf with other like minded people of all ages and abilities. You can play six or more holes, practice putting on the greens or have some guidance on the practice area.
No clubs?
No problem! We can make them available if needed.
No golf gear?
No worries your Lycra, tights or sweatpants and sport shoes will do!
Just roll up on a Sunday at 3.00pm. You will be placed into a group of similar skilled people along with a club member for some friendly guidance and help
When 3 February – 10 March 2019
If you can't come every Sunday that's fine, you just pay when you come. Only $10 for the afternoon or free for Club members.

Course Features
The Northland Golf Club is a par 71, 18-hole course set in a peaceful rural valley with many native trees and bird life. We provide a scenic and challenging course for all levels of golf, all year round.
We are 3kms past the Kamo lights (which is 10 minutes north of central Whangarei). The course is open for green fee players and visitors are welcome to join in our haggles.

The course has a shop, driving range, practice area, club house with cafe, cart hire, bar facilities and coaching professional available by appointment.

Northland Golf Course is an 18 hole with a par of 71. We have a classic inland course boasting narrow tree lined fairways, undulating fairways and generous, gently sloping greens with views of the historic Mt Parakiore, Mt Hurupaki and Mt Hikurangi.
These views are complemented by well-groomed greens and fairways surrounded by areas of flowering native trees which provide sanctuary for many varieties of native birds. If you are lucky you may see the rare North Island Kaka with its stunning green and orange plummage.
There are several meandering streams and ponds that cut their way through the course or bordering fairways offering extra challenges to the golfer.
The course is just over 5650 metres off the championship tees and offers a fair but genuine challenge to golfers of all levels. We look forward to welcoming you with our Kiwi hospitality, only 10 minutes from the centre of Whangarei
