Saturday 25th March, 11am shotgun start

Cost: $20 per person (preregistration) or $25 pay on the day. Includes light lunch.

Enjoy a summer afternoon out on course with She Loves Golf Summer 9s at Awhitu Golf Club!

She Loves Golf 9s is a fun and social event series for women who are ready to step up from playing 6 holes, or looking for a more casual social round of golf. Play 9 holes as a team in an ambrose format - everyone hits the ball, you pick the best shot and all go from there, and repeat until you putt the ball in the hole.

Choose whether to keep score or play by the It's Ok Rules.

Bring a friend and socialise with other like-minded women on course and in the clubhouse afterwards.

Awhitu Golf Club

The Awhitu Golf Club is a 9 hole course situated on the Awhitu Peninsula and is approx. 25 minutes drive north of Waiuku. The course has 2 flags on each green and has alternative tees on some holes. Set in the Awhitu Regional Park, the course has excellent views of the Manukau Harbour and of the surrounding parkland. If you are looking for a stress free game of golf then Awhitu is the course for you. It is never overcrowded.

Course Features

Although relatively short, the course has a testing par 5 of 488 m. and this is followed by two par 4’s that play longer than the card indicates.

Club Features

The clubhouse is spacious and has great views of the golf course and the park. It can cater for groups of 100 to 120, and can be booked for weddings and other social occasions.

The clubhouse is open for meals on Friday evenings and for lunches/morning tea on Sundays (from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). This has proved to be a very popular destination.

Club days are Sunday and Wednesday with tee off time at 9.00 a.m. on each day. Men and Ladies are welcome to join the haggle on each day at a very reasonable cost.
