She Loves Golf Event

Canterbury She Loves Golf 6's and 9's Summer Series

Get on the green with She Loves Golf! If you are new to golf or looking for a shorter format, our She Loves Golf Summer Series is for you. Get together with friends and join us for six or nine holes at five local golf clubs from the forward tees (purple course). Enjoy drinks and nibbles in the clubhouse after golf.

She Loves Golf 6's is fun, fast and social, and you can share a set of clubs with a friend. We play a team event over six holes, so you can register as a pair or by yourself, and we can find you a partner.

She Loves Golf 9’s is an organised playing experience for those participants who are ready for the next step playing a 9-hole individual format. You can challenge yourself and choose to keep score in a safe, social environment while still learning the basics of golf. Please note that being an individual format, each player will need clubs for SLG9's.

Join us for one or two events, or play them all. Be in to win spot prizes every time you play, thanks to our friends at Forewinds Women’s Golf Clothing. This series is brought to you by Golf New Zealand and Canterbury Golf. Limited to 60 spots per event.

Russley Golf Club

Located in Burnside just 15 minutes drive from the centre of Christchurch, Russley Golf Club is a relaxing escape from the stress and demands of the day to day grind. Established in 1928 the club has a history of hosting major national tournaments including the 2017 Men’s and Women’s NZ Amateur Championships.
Offering a diverse and inclusive environment, Russley welcomes you to come and experience a game of golf at the sheltered, picturesque Russley course. Visitors are welcome 6 days a week (Monday to Friday and Sunday). If you are visiting alone, please let us know and we will do our best to pair you up with some friendly playing partners to make your day a little more enjoyable.

Course Features

The challenging 18 hole championship course offers a very special experience for players of all abilities. The course is an interesting challenge, not overly long in distance however a strategic approach and club selection always wins at Russley. The course has hosted many large Amateur and Professional events and we pride ourselves on first class course conditions all year round.
