Futures Team Golf and Futures 9

Can’t wait to get on the golf course? Futures events bring kids together for a fun golf experience. Team Golf is a 6-hole format for young beginners who want to build confidence on-course and It's OKAY relaxed rules ensure it's all about having fun. If you played Team Golf or Futures 6 last term and you are ready to take the next step, Futures 9 is a 9-hole individual format that provides a fun challenge playing your own ball.

Open to girls and boys 14 years & under, and mum and dad can come along to caddy.

Sunday 27th November | 9.00am - 11.30am | Temuka Golf Club

Sunday 18th December | 9.00am - 11.30am | Gleniti Golf Club

Sunday 18th December | 1.30pm - 3.30pm | Methven Golf Club

Cost: $5 per event | Pay on the day. Be in with a chance to win spot prizes!

Entries for each event close midday Friday prior to the event, or earlier if it is fully booked. Parent/guardian supervision is required for young people 12 years and under.

Methven Golf Club

Situated an hour from Christchurch, the Methven Golf Club welcomes visitors to our fantastic course all year round. Methven is a great rural community that also caters for the Mt Hutt ski area. A wide variety of accommodation, bars and restaurants makes Methven an ideal base for a golfing long weekend or holiday.

Course Features

The par 71 layout is a very easy walking course with spectacular views of the Southern Alps and the surrounding farmland. All holes are tree lined with beautiful colours during the autumn months. The course has a fantastic reputation for it's challenge, condition and presentation. If you're golfing around Canterbury it's not to be missed.

Club Features

The Methven Golf Club has a designated practice are that can handle shots up to 240 metres. A very rare thing at a country course.

Our bar and clubhouse facilities are open on club days or by arrangement. Eftpos is available on club days but it's advisable to bring cash for green fee payments that go into the honesty box.
